SEC’s ‘Project Crypto’: Important, But Already Priced In, Expert Says
The other stuff, like the SEC and the White House crypto report, etc., I don't see those really big or huge type of events, at this point. I mean the SEC stuff is codifying what we've already known or seen in practice under Atkins. The White House report may put a little more meat on the bones to some of the proposals and executive orders that were released, but at the same point, the only reports that really matter are going to be the Genius Act, which focuses on Stablecoins. It’s entirely possible that the Senate drafts its own market structure bill, so we'll see what happens with that, but at this point I feel like that kind of stuff is already priced into the market.
